Black/Yellow Carpenter Bee
The black-yellow carpenter bee, or Xylocopa confusa, is made distinctive by its ‘eye-like’ pattern. Similar to native Australian species, this species is endemic to Southeast Asia. Our specimens are preserved by us in small glass domes, measuring 6.5cm by 10cm - these domes allow for a complete view of the specimen, and look great on mantles, shelves, desks, or side tables.
